All Allison ReTrans take place at one of Allison’s certified remanufacturing facilities. The transmission is disassembled piece-by-piece to clean, qualify, and test each component for the possibility of reuse. The components that cannot be reused are always replaced with brand-new Allison Genuine Parts, ensuring a more reliable and dependable remanufactured transmission. Other remanufactured transmissions can consist of anything from inferior parts to substandard machining to inadequate testing.
